Sweet Boxes at the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Afternoon Tea

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Afternoon Tea: A review

If you are looking for a family friendly Afternoon Tea in London then this is one of the best. Read on to find out what is included and what to expect at One Aldwych.

One Aldwych

This was an absolute treat for my birthday last year. I love a good afternoon tea but sometimes find them a bit rigid and not relaxing. This was very different. One Aldwych is a hotel near Covent Garden which hosts the Afternoon Tea in the very grand basement. When you first walk in, you are welcomed with a smile and led to your table downstairs where you are in a room filled with other families. You would not feel out of place if you didn’t have children however, as it has quite a grown-up atmosphere.

We had a lovely day beforehand walking from Columbia Road Flower to One Aldwych. It certainly walked off a few of the calories!

The Afternoon Tea

Inspired by Roald Dahl’s beloved book, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, you are transported into Willy Wonka’s world of culinary delights. Starting with Savoury Treats.
