If you’re after a quirky and beautiful place to eat then you will love Mercato Mayfair. Perfect for a meal or just a cocktail!

The unlikely blend of a food hall with a church resulted in Mercato Mayfair. A fantastic place to meet friends as you can share a table but eat from any of the street food stalls.
The Church Building

The stained glass at the back of the church strikes you immediately as you walk in. There is now a gin bar behind the pulpit. You then start to see the details like the high chairs stored around the font on your right. The upstairs mezzanine level now has cafe seating and even more food options. If you head down to the basement, it feels like a cave with it’s rounded ceiling and walls.
Food Options
There is plenty of choice in the main food hall on the ground floor of the church. You can get the lift or walk up to the terrace with more food options with some limited seating. There is even a roof terrace for a warm summers day. For a different feel, you can go down into the basement to a sushi and wine bar with more relaxed, comfortable seating.

For groups of 5 or more you can book a table. I would recommend this option if you are visiting for lunch or dinner.

Getting to Mercato Mayfair
Tucked away on a side street in Mayfair, just off the western end of Oxford Street. The nearest tube station is Bond Street, just over a 5 minute walk.

Booking a table at Mercato Mayfair
As this is a food hall, you cannot book a table unless you are a group of 6 or more. You can share tables with others or wait to find a space. I visited late morning on a weekday and there were plenty of available tables.
Top Tip: Check the other levels for available tables too.
Mercato Mayfair Opening Hours
It is open daily from 9am until 11pm. On Fridays and Saturdays, it stays open until midnight and closes half an hour early at 10.30pm on a Sunday evening.
Accessibility
On the website it states that all their sites are accessible. There are lifts to each level and ramps where there are a few steps.
